The opening for the stairs to the upstairs apartment. What would have been dead space, Chris is turning into a closet.
This pic is taken from the landing at what will be the top of the stairs. The opening for the window is on the right, and the bay window is in the center of the picture.
This pic is again from the landing at the top of the stairs, looking toward the kitchen. The bay window is on the right.
